 بالتعاون مع قسم الصحية المدرسية في إدارة التعليم بعنيزة، نفذ قسم التوعية الصحية في جمعية أصدقاء المرضى بعنيزة برنامج توعوي عن مرض السرطان تحت شعار (الوجه الخفي للانقسام) استهدف معلمات ومنسوبات المتوسطة التاسعة بعنيزة.
وقدمت عضو قسم التوعية الصحية شهد المطيري تعريفاً عن مرض السرطان وطرق الوقاية منه، وركز البرنامج على التوعية بمرض سرطان عنق الرحم والذي يأتي من أسباب عدة منها موانع الحمل واستخدامها لمدة طويلة بالإضافة إلى الحمل الكامل قبل عمر ١٧ عاماً وفيروس HPV موضحةً طرق الوقاية منه بأخذ اللقاح خلال عمر ٩ وحتى ١٢ عاماً.
يأتي هذا البرنامج بالتعاون مع ادارة تعليم عنيزة ويستهدف عدد من مدارس البنات ايماناً من الطرفان بأهمية رفع مستوى الوعي الصحي للمعلمات والطالبات.
